    Beef Nachos

    Nacho average nachos! 

    These tasty nachos are loaded with our Deliciou Plant-Based beef, tomatoes, black beans, cheese, guac and salsa. Super hearty, easy, fresh and perfect for sharing - yum!

    Prep time: 20 minutes
    Cook time: 20 minutes
    Serves: 4


    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 can crushed tomatoes
    • 1 can black beans, drained
    • 2 packets corn chips
    • 1 ½ cups grated vegan cheese (we use cheddar)

    For the beef:

    To serve: 

    • Fresh coriander
    • Guacamole
    • Tomato salsa


    1. Preheat oven to 200C/390F fan forced.
    2. Combine all the beef ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to create mince.
    3. Heat oil in a large frypan over medium-high heat and add the onion and sauté until translucent. 
    4. Add the beef mixture to the pan and using a wooden spoon, break apart the mixture. Add the Deliciou Taco Seasoning. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
    5. Add the tomatoes and black beans to the pan and cook for a further 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
    6. Arrange the corn chips in a large baking dish and top with beef mixture and cheese.
    7. Place the nachos in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
    8. Garnish with coriander and serve with guacamole and tomato salsa. Enjoy!
